Concrete work & outdoor living, self-performed

Concrete is unforgiving — it cures the way it was poured, forever. Our crews form, pour, and finish driveways, foundations, slabs, and retaining walls ourselves, so the prep is right, the steel is where the engineer drew it, and the finish is one we're proud to drive past.

It's also the backbone of outdoor living: patios, steps, pool decks, and the pads that decks and pergolas stand on. One team, from demo and haul-off to the final broom or stamp.

Concrete & Outdoor Living

What's included

Driveways & walkways

Tear-out, grading, base, steel, and a clean pour with proper control joints — broom, salt, or stamped finish.

Stamped & decorative concrete

Stone, slate, and wood-look stamping with integral color and sealer — the high-end look without the paver price.

Foundations, slabs & footings

New foundations, garage and ADU slabs, and footings poured to engineering and inspected — the part of the job you never want to redo.

Retaining & garden walls

Engineered block and poured walls with real drainage behind them, because a wall without drainage is a countdown.

Patios, steps & porches

Outdoor floors built to entertain on — with the slopes, expansion joints, and finishes that keep them looking new.

Decks & pergolas

Wood and composite decks, shade structures, and the outdoor rooms LA weather was made for.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot

How soon can we walk or drive on new concrete?

Foot traffic after 24–48 hours, vehicles after about 7 days. Full design strength takes 28 days. We'll leave you a simple care sheet — mostly: keep the car off it for a week.

Will my new concrete crack?

All concrete moves — the trade secret is controlling where. Proper base compaction, steel, and control joints mean any hairline movement happens at the joints, not across your driveway.

Do retaining walls need permits and engineering?

In most cities, walls over 3–4 feet or holding a surcharge (like a driveway above) need engineering and a permit. We handle both — and we build the drainage that keeps the wall standing.

Do you haul away the old driveway?

Yes — demo, haul-off, and disposal are included in our quotes. The number we give you is the number the job costs.
