Framing crews for additions, shells & structural repair

Framing is the skeleton everything else hangs on — square walls make easy drywall, straight ceilings, and doors that close for the next thirty years. Our crews frame additions, second stories, ADU and garage shells, and full new construction to the engineer's drawings, hardware and all.

We also do the structural work older LA housing quietly needs: sistering sawn-off joists, replacing dry-rot and termite damage, shear walls, and the balcony repairs that SB 721 and SB 326 inspections keep turning up.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot

Do I need engineered plans for framing work?

For additions, second stories, and shear work — yes, and the city will require them. If you don't have plans yet, we'll bring in the engineer; if you do, we build exactly to them.

My termite or balcony report lists structural damage. Can you fix it?

Yes — that's weekly work for us. We open up, replace or sister the damaged members, add required hardware, and close with inspections documented so the report clears.

How fast can you frame an addition or ADU shell?

A typical room addition frames in 1–2 weeks; a detached ADU shell in 2–4. Because framing is in-house, that date doesn't slip while a sub finishes someone else's job.

Do you work for owner-builders and other contractors?

Yes. If you're running your own project and need a clean framing package — labor, hardware, inspections — we do that, at a fixed price.
